Whether you are new to Gulf Breeze, FL, switching from another provider, or coming back to dental care after a long absence, this page covers everything you need to know before your first visit.
What to Bring to Your First Appointment
Please bring a valid photo ID, your insurance card (if applicable), a list of current medications, and any relevant medical information. If you have recent dental X-rays or records from a previous provider, feel free to bring them, though they are not required.
If you have specific concerns, symptoms, or goals for your oral health, we encourage you to jot them down before your visit so we can ensure they are thoroughly addressed during your appointment.
Completing Your Patient Forms
New patient intake forms can be completed online in advance of your appointment. Our team will send you a link when you schedule. Completing forms ahead of time allows us to spend more of your appointment on evaluation and conversation rather than paperwork. If you need assistance or prefer to complete forms in the office, we are happy to accommodate that as well.
What to Expect
Your first visit at Pearl & Pine is intentionally comprehensive. We take the time to understand your concerns, goals, and overall health—not just your teeth.
Your appointment may include a detailed oral health evaluation, airway screening, digital X-rays or 3D imaging when indicated, intraoral scanning, clinical photography, and a thorough examination with Dr. Dixie or Dr. Shane. We will review our findings together, answer your questions, and discuss personalized recommendations based on your individual needs.
Our goal is for you to leave with clarity, confidence, and a personalized plan for achieving your healthiest smile.
Insurance and Payment
Pearl & Pine Dental Studio is an out-of-network practice. We work with most PPO dental insurance plans and file courtesy claims on your behalf. Payment is collected at the time of service, and reimbursement is sent directly to you from your insurer based on your out-of-network benefits. We also offer third-party financing through Cherry. A 50% deposit is required to schedule your appointment, with the remaining balance due at the time of service. For full details, see our Insurance & Finance page.
