Out-of-Network — What That Means for You
Pearl & Pine Dental Studio is an out-of-network dental practice. This means we are not contracted with any dental insurance network, which allows us to make clinical decisions based entirely on what is best for you, not what an insurance contract limits us to. We use the highest-quality materials, the most biocompatible options, and the most thorough diagnostic protocols available, free from the restrictions that in-network contracts often impose.
Being out-of-network does not mean you cannot use your insurance. If you have a PPO dental plan with out-of-network benefits, which most PPO plans include, we will file a courtesy claim on your behalf. Your insurer will reimburse a portion of your treatment cost directly to you based on their out-of-network fee schedule. Our team is experienced in helping patients navigate this process.
How Payment Works
Payment is collected at the time of service. We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, cash, and checks. Before any treatment begins, we provide a clear, itemized estimate of costs so you know exactly what to expect. We do not believe in billing surprises. To secure your appointment, a 50% deposit is required at scheduling, with the remaining balance due at the time of service.
Cherry Financing
For patients who prefer to spread treatment costs over time, we offer third-party financing through Cherry. Cherry offers a range of payment plan options with a quick and simple application process. Many patients are approved within minutes. Financing through Cherry allows you to begin treatment now and pay over time at a monthly rate that works for your budget. HMO and Medicaid Plans
Pearl & Pine does not accept HMO or Medicaid dental plans, as these programs do not provide out-of-network benefits. We also do not accept VA or TRICARE dental plans. Phased Treatment Planning
For patients with extensive treatment needs, we offer phased treatment planning prioritizing the most urgent concerns first and building a timeline that distributes cost over multiple appointments.
