Dr. Shane Mobley
Dr. Shane Mobley is a United States Navy veteran, a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI), and a restorative dentist who approaches every case with the kind of careful, craftsmanship-level precision that sets Pearl & Pine apart. At his core, he is a provider who genuinely loves his work and it shows in the quality of care he delivers to every patient at our Gulf Breeze, FL practice.
Education and Advanced Training
Dr. Shane earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Central Florida and his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Florida. He completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency as an officer in the United States Navy and continues his service in the Navy Reserves.
He is a graduate of the Implant Educators Academy, a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI), and an active student of The Pankey Institute. He completes more than 100 hours of continuing education annually, with advanced training in implant dentistry, oral surgery, full-mouth rehabilitation, and functional occlusion.
Professional Memberships
Dr. Shane holds active memberships with the Seattle Study Club, the EscaRosa Dental Society, the Northwest District Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. His engagement with these professional communities reflects his commitment to staying at the leading edge of dental practice and sharing knowledge with his peers.
Why He Became a Dentist
"I went on service-based medical mission trips during high school and felt a calling to help make a difference in the medical field," Dr. Shane explains. That calling, rooted in service to others, has defined his entire career. At Pearl & Pine, he and Dr. Dixie are creating the practice they always wished existed: one that brings exceptional expertise and genuine human care together in the same room.
Beyond the Practice
Dr. Shane is an avid surfer who has traveled to five different countries in pursuit of waves. He also loves fishing, working out, watching football, and being active outdoors with his family. He and Dr. Dixie both grew up fishing with their families, and passing that tradition on to their children is one of the things he treasures most. It grounds him in something bigger than dentistry, and that perspective makes him a better provider.
